Incredible Handcrafted Soaps Resemble Real Minerals by Jennifer Cox
Nashville-based boutique Rock Hound Soap is responsible for producing stunning handcrafted soaps inspired by minerals and geology. Mimicking the raw shape of minerals, including quartz crystal, amethyst, sapphire and tourmaline among other geological formations, its artist Jennifer Cox carefully constructs calculative cuts in each glycerin based soap into various shapes to create a realistic and jagged appearance.
Body safe dye, each detergent free toiletry is about 2 to 2.5 inches. Cox beautifully mimics the iridescence, dimensional color and rawness of each mineral. You can find her entire collection in her Etsy shop.
